This sounds like me. I'm not infected with anything as I have been tested for everything. It's just this unexplained blood blister that I just started getting. I have Medicaid so I have c**p Insurance but I still want an answer. It's hard to get the bleeding to stop. I'm with one partner for the past 12 years so std/sti is out of the question. Any help here??? I poped it and put alcohol on it. Burned but I'm a grem freak.

I've had these for 37 years. Don't cause any problems, just look weird. Doctor now concerned.

That should read "Doctor NOT concerned"

I've had six vaginal births, and I have had both types (blood blisters, and pus-type blisters) shortly after the births. The blood blisters sometimes go away, and sometimes not, but they do not hurt, ooze, or itch, and they are flat - not raised. When I have had a pus-filled (pimple-type) lump or blister, I have applied a little tea tree oil to it, and taken turmeric capsules for a few days and it clears up immediately. Turmeric kills staph (MRSA) which is what I think it is. The tea tree oil has a very slight but tolerable burning sensation. Tea tree oil will also stop a yeast infection in its tracks before it gets out of control. Hope this helps!

It sounds like you are describing boils. You may want to look up Hidradenitis Suppurativa and see if that is what you have.

I'm near the end of my pregnancy and brought up a dark, what I thought was a mole on the left side labia... My Doc agreed with what one other responder said below... I had assumed a little freckle had blown up into a mole because being pregnant I couldn't really get that good of a look at it... She said that it was more like a blood blister, totally common, some people have increased blood vessels in the area or varicose veins, they tend to be more common as you age. They are not viral or infectious but just a fact of life and that if you found them bothersome you could contact a plastic surgeon for removal... It would be an outpatient procedure relatively low in cost... But that the chances of them occurring with age is increased and during times like pregnancy when there is increased blood flow and pressure on the nether regions... Mine is just a benign blood blister, no pain, no oozing.
However reading some of the responses below... Those of you who are experiencing oozing, puss, or pain should definitely be seen... And yes, in the moist genital regions I would also be concerned about staff infections and such... You only have one body, and if something isn't right you should seek out the help of a professional! Good luck to all!!!

Hi I have these all time, to the point of attending the hospital cause the pain is that bad. Hospital gyno told me to use hot bath or heat pack to make them bust quicker. She said its most likely in grown hairs or sweat gland blockage

I have one blood blister on the outer labia. It is sore and if I squeeze it to relieve pressure, some bright red blood comes out on the Kleenex . What can I do at home. I have been under a lot of stress!

Same for me. Paid $175 to get the whole labia majora zapped and they cleared up. The laser tech at the clinic sorta giggled (not in a mean way) when she saw them. She thought I had these big goiters there by the intensity in my voice when I described them to her, but they really were quite small, barely even noticeable. When it's on your junk, it's a big deal. Unfortunately 4 years later, they are back :( not happy. They are very very tiny (right now) but if popped they bleed and bleed, it's really annoying. I even took a hot needle to burn one myself but it really doesn't get rid of them. Once it heals the red dot is right there as close to the surface as ever. They have to be zapped. Initially, mine appeared after the birth of my second child. I don't understand why they have come back as I have not had another pregnancy since the laser treatment but I did gain quite a bit of weight since then and have lost 30 pounds recently. Guess I will finish my weight loss and return to the laser clinic-sigh. On a side note, they do look at you a bit like you could have an STD. It's not though. I have been abstinent for 3 years and donate blood (I'm tested clean) and the spots have only just returned the past few months. Try not to feel too embarrassed it's much more common than women let on, just no one wants to talk about it due to the aforementioned reasons.

***Angiokeratomas matches my conditions description accurately. Cherry Angiomas is what the laser tech called them.

Hi I agree with you..gyno think that because you have something and not life threating just leave it alone..I went to 2 gynos and had everything test done to see if I had an std and came back negative Everytime ..no one could tell me what the spots were..they went from they look like mulluscum and they will go away in time but no they never did I was always worried from that moment on because mulluscum is very contagious and I thought I was gonna spread it to everybody in the house then I went to another gyno because I wanted an answer and how I could get rid of the spots and this gyno had the nerve to say its because of my age that I'm getting older and that's what happens to our body as long as it's not bothering you then just leave it alone..like really I'm a female non of us want spots that we don't know about on our labia..I was just to done..for 2 years no one could tell me anything until on I talked to a lady dermatologist online and showed her a picture and right away she told me it was angiokeratomas told me to see a Dermatalogist and now hopefully in a few weeks she is gonna cauterize them..I was happy to get a name to it and know that yes something could be done about it so there is hope again.

Girls! Since I gave birth a little over a year ago my labia grew these non-painful, un-raised little blood blisters. One grew, popped and would not stop bleeding for days! When it finally stopped bleeding it grew a hard scab and started to pull funny on the sensitive skin down there. My husband said to me, "try putting Manuka honey on it!" After 3 days of applying it 2-3 times daily it is seriously gone.

Blood blisters on vulva = angiokeratoma of vulva

• Angiokeratoma of Fordyce (affecting Vulva)
• Angiokeratoma of Mibelli (affecting Vulva)
• Vulvar Angiokeratoma

If you have a non-itching, non-painful, purplish, blood blister; they are usually benign blood vessels close to skin surface forming a blood blister. If you ever got a blood blister on your hand; it looks similar. They are full of blood.

I have had a dermatologist diagnosis mine & told me it's nothing to worry about.
The common treatment is laser. They often come back.
Unfortunately, they do not do the needed treatment there. Hard to find someone who treats this. It's like prank call, " Hi, do you know anyone who burns blood blisters off cooters?"

so, out of frustration, I decided to pop a couple myself with a tweezer fast squeeze / pull, with band aids ready. They bled & bled. Kept it sanitized. Scabbed. Keep vaseline on to prevent scar, Scab fell off, It healed up a week half later. Looked much better, almost normal flesh again, but, many months later; others came back. May try again. May try burn off method I read others do. Maybe I'll eventually find a pro who does the laser treatment.

Here is a link to guys treating it. Yes, guys get them on their scrotum, too.

I decided to post to give someone out there some peace of mind.
Blood blisters in private parts area= more common than expected.

Of course, get a Dr to confirm that is all it is. That helped me not worry about it being harmful other than dealing with the looks of it.
