Hello! My doctor told me that I have the following problem. What I want to know something basic about it. I have endometriosis disorder right now. I should need to be operated in soon future. So, I wish to know something about laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis and recovery time. If someone already has such operation it would be great to learn from that experience. Thanks for your rationale.

Hi,
Laproscopic surgery in cases of endometriosis is a very common practice and has replaced classic surgical procedures almost completely. When you have laproscopic surgery doctors don’t have to make large incisions, like they had to before. Instead, they make only a tiny incision, about half an inch wide, in order to be able to do the procedure. That is the main benefit of this surgical technique – there are no large wounds that need to heal and the recovery process is much shorter than it used to be before. Possibility of complication practically doesn’t exist, so the recovery usually lasts only a few days.
