My sister had the same thing happening after the LEEP procedure. She wasn’t worried about the blood but was confused that watery discharge, so she called her gynecologist and asked some additional questions. The doc told her that watery discharge is normal and happens all the time and that it may continue for the next couple of weeks. She also mentioned cramping but it shouldn’t last very long. She said that if the discharge becomes heavy smelling, that she shouldn’t do anything to reduce the smell but only wash her vaginal lips with plain water.

When she asked about possible complications or side effects to know what to look for, the doc said these are rare but sometimes there could happen damage to some of the pelvic organs or inside the vagina.
She told her not to have sex until the cervix heals, other wise she could be facing an infection.

Some tricks to speed up the healing would include using pads, or panty liners and not tampons as tampons can be dangerous, avoiding sex until it heals, avoid douching, and have regular follow-ups.

I am very surprised that there was so much to tell and nobody said these things until she phoned them from home. These things really make me mad!
