What are the disease-modifying antirheumatoid drugs? I use common analgesics in treatment of rheumatic pain. I was suggested to try with leflunomide sar. How does this drug help? I would like to hear other’s opinions and experiences about leflunomide sar.

Leflunomide is used as disease-modifying antirheumatic drug in treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. It is administered orally. Disease-modifying antirheumatoid drugs are agents that can modify the course of disease by their immunomodulate action. Leflunomide is immunomodulating agent that inhibits pyrimidine synthesis. Their mechanism of action differs from mechanism of typical analgesics and anti-inflammatory drugs.
