the same thing happens to me as well. i had surgery in my left shoulder, chest, and neck bc i had hodgkins lymphoma. i do not knw why this feeling occurs, i thought maybe to much bad food, or maybe mild stroke. wish i knew

I'm having this numbness on the left side of my body. It makes me feel very weird sometimes like I'm going out of my mind. It's not that strong in my face anymore but all down the left side (to me) I feel swollen. but if you look at me I'm normal. Was in the hospital recently and they ran all kinds of test and didn't find anything. This makes me very nervous and don' want to be like this the rest of my life.

I have this numbness on the left side of my body that has last for about a week now. Went to the hospital and they ran all kinds of test and couldn't find a thing. This feeling is very irritating and when I move my arm or leg it feels like a buzzing feeling and it stops when I'm still. My hand, fingers, feet and toes feel sore. Actually the whole left side feel swollen (to me) but when everyone look at me I look normal. This sensation makes me feel really crazy at times I'm trying to stay positive but it's hard. I have an apt to see a neurologist in a week but any suggestions on what I can do until then?

I also have hypothyroidism. I have palpable mass in my neck. I have had ultra sounds done on this area. Its just that sometimes your thyroid glands overwork because of trying to keep up with the demand of needing the thyroid hormone. Most of the time the thyroid gland gets enlarged from being overworked. I wouldnt worry about it. Just get your scans done. If they say its not cancer then believe them. I am a registered nurse and I can tell u that this is easily detected.
