please help me. I did unprotected sex just a day after my period of 4 days. I took morning after pill after 12 hours. After a week I found light bleeding. I am very scared, I dont want to be pregnant as I am unmarried. Is it sign of pregnancy or just side effect of pill.

Taking the morning after pill can cause bleeding between periods. It will trigger a period sometimes to help prevent pregnancy by shedding the lining of the uterine wall. You may experience pregnany like symptoms after taking the morning after pill because they are full of hormones which causes sore or tender breast, stomach cramping, headaches, nausea, heartburn, etc. Since you are unmarried and not wanting an unwanted pregnany or STD my advice to you is to get on some kind of birth control AND have your sexual partners use condoms.
