Lauren, I took adderall for the last 10 years. I did NOT think I could quit although I wanted to very much for the past 5 years.. It was only by the grace of God through Jesus Christ that I got saved and was able to finally quit. It has only been a month but I dont even have withdrawals or fatigue. God completely healed me of my addiction to it and he can and will do the same for you if you get saved and trust that he will deliver you!!!

Hi Lauren, I just came across your post while googling to see if Adderall causes Arthritis. I really hope things have gotten better!! If you still want to get off Adderall, search online! I've been clean for three years after being prescribed for 15 years up to 160 mg a day (actually prescribed by my doctor for the last few years!! He was insane!) Anyway, it was incredibly difficult to adjust, but online really helped me as so many people are struggling with the real addictive component of this drug and they are all supporting each other too.

I have been asking the same question relative to Adderall's effect on certain aspects of my Health. Check out website on Adderall and Cancer and read on. I have non-hodgkins Lymphoma and have been an Adderall user for about 10 years.
Is there a link? And yes there are studies done with humans, not only mice.

I just read that whole post, and I would wholeheartedly support you creating a blog to rant about random topics. The way you started with one relatively straightforward topic and drew in 500 other topics from all over the place was way more engaging than I would've expected. Great post, just in case no one else read it or appreciated it.
Also, I've been prescribed adderall for years, and have researched many of the items you mentioned in there, so I'm even more impressed that you remembered as much of it as you did.

I take the drug for the same reason you do, though in a lower dose. I don't take it when i don't need it either. But regardless, i have to go to the doctor, and be in a doctor's care, to even get the script refilled. It's just how they handle this particular prescription.
So what's going on here? Why not talk to the prescribing physician about this? It sounds like your dose is WAY too high, regardless of what's going on.
