Question for all? Does anybody out there know for a FACT IF smoking will lessen the effects of narcotic withdrawal symptoms? I have heard it does but the sources were not factual just hearsay.

I also heard that too, but have not actually tried it.  I've had pretty bad reactions to weed in the past and shy away from it.  I did not hear that pot works for opiate withdrawals from a medical professional however.  Sorry I can't be of more help and don't have any personal experience with this issue.  Good luck with your withdrawals, I'm going through it right now and its the worst!  Never felt so terrible.  I am actually prescribed painkillers and they're in a safe but they keep disappearing. hmmm, and then this causes me and my husband to go through wd.  Real fun.  Into the second day of it, and its brutal to say the least.  I am in so much pain, and cannot get comfortable which is such a pain in the ass.  Oh, if you were talking about smoking cigarettes, I have heard that they make narcotics kick in faster.  Sometimes I feel a lot better after having one, sometimes I feel worse.  I've tried a little bit of adderal and valium and they seem to keep symptoms at bay for a little while, although it'll make you sneeze a lot.  Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
