There is an important thing to consider about masturbation: it consumes significantly less energy than sex but relaxes the body in the same way. Thus your BMR (base metabolism rate) decreases for a while and your overall calorie burning gets less than average

I like what you had to say but I want to add a touch of technicality to just one tiny point. Although a calorie is a derived unit of energy/work from a joule. In chemical turns it is the amount of heat it takes to evaporate one mL of water which is about 4.1J. When applied to our bodies it becomes much more complex because our bodies use sugar/salt solutions; that is why electrolytes are so important. So how does this relate well its simple really our bodies use water to burn everything and create everything soa good mean of the work being done is the calorie although not the best derived unit for analytical use in a lab setting but good for daily use in general terms.
Ok, I could keep going on forever but heres the point of this whole blog due to the overall bodily effect of masturbation more than 60 Calories is burned. I would totally agree with the 100 tob150 range because actually research has been done on coitus and some men and women can individually burn over 300 Cals in a good session.
And heres a funny thing about back in the 50's when they were analytically doing this research there was two categories they couldnt really measure till now and one of them is still highly subjective, excitement and love. They have sinve found that higher levels of either of these burns more calories.
So maybe if you imagine the girl your in love with while masturbating you might burn a few extra cals. LMAO

So yes, you can burn a LOT of calories, but only if you factor in how you are masturbating, how long you are masturbating, and what positions you are using.
Thank you
