Hi so I just had something very similar happen to me and I'm very alarmed. A blood clot came out of me with some sort of thick whitish pinkish membrane attached it is extremely large and long. I got the depo shot for the first time in April and this is the first time I'm getting my period on it. Wtf is this!? I can't find any information about it!? I'm thinking it's my cervical lining since the shot thickens it? It's so disturbing though.

Hi! it's weird, gross and funky but apparently passing these chunks is normal. I am 24 with polycystic ovarian syndrome. I got my depo shot in may because I bled for 2 months while on the active birth control pills. I started bleeding a month after the shot and it lasted for 18 days. I felt sharp cramps like something was going on in there and I wasn't surprised to see blood but it shouldn't have happened. It was OK at first, then by the 5th day I've been passing clots multiple times a day.. then it was heavy for another week and by day 14 the clots came back just for a day. I see my gyno tomorrow but there isn't anything anyone can do until the depo has left my system in August. Not sure what to do to stop funky long lasting bleeding - remove my ovaries?! I'll have to ask!

This is what i also want to find out. I just had that few minutes ago after a long day of F4 event. I came home went to the bathroom and pulled down my pants, only to find this thick thing that came out of me. Im on my depo shot for 1 month already, and well i am 22 years old. Watching this thick thing, and trying to unfold it each corner, there is a white long but not that long, thick i guess i can say membrane, well i dont know what it was, and my whole point is that i want to find out what exactly is this...

did you ever find out what was wrong with you? I'm experiencing the same exact symptoms right now and I don't know what to do. Every time I go to the doctor they tell me "it's a normal side effect" but these pains are getting to be too much

I know this is old but I experienced this in 2013. Literally that is how i would explain it. I woke up with it in my underwear I swear it looked like it had a tail talking about the thinner part you are. I wasn't on any birth control. I truly believe it is a miscarriage. I went through a miscarriage 3 months later and I swear it looked the exact same but broken down.
