I am on meprone therapy because of parasitic infection I eventually acquired. This is because I spent 3 months in Sudan as a reporter. My doctor is afraid I may have malaria. I did some blood tests and still waiting for its results. I had fever and felt fatigue and myalgia, symptoms similar as those in flu. I‘d rather prolong meprone therapy.

Meprone is atovaquone, antiparasitic drug that is used to treat Plasmodium spp. Malaria.
In Sudan, you really had chance to acquire malaria. If your doctor is suspicious, believe him.
Of course, your blood test will show your real condition. Precaution is needed. Malaria is disease to be taken very seriously.
