Hello, folks. My husband has been suffering from prostate cancer. Lately, he has been diagnosed with mesotelioma as well. Is this usual? I have read that people suffer from this tumor if they have been exposed to asbestos previously. My husband has never been in touch with asbestos in his life.

Hello. Mesothelioma is in your husband’s case secondary tumor or metastasis. It is when tumor spreads from its primary or original location to another. Here, tumor spread from prostate to pleura. Maybe, this isn’t a typical metastasis. As far as I know, the most typical locations for metastatic lesions of prostate cancer are bones. You must be persistent in treatment. Try to give support your husband as much as you can. I hope this helps. Bye!
