My son is currently on 100 mg methodone. He's was previously taking Suboxone and has been on Methodone for approx 2-3 months. He wants to go back to Suboxone. I would like to take time off work when he goes through withdrawals. How long will he need 24 hr support?

Just to make sure that I understand, your son has switched from methodone to suboxone before, or from suboxone to methodone? Have you supported him in the switch before or did you have professional supervision? I would recommend having professional help for his switch one way or the other because going on any substance like that can be difficult. But I would schedule an entire week to be honest.
