I have a serious question. I am 14 years of age and my left testical started hurting. it feels a bit swollen but it doesnt feel any harder than the other one. It does feel more tender though and I have been doing some research and it really sounds like testicualr torsion to me but i would really like another opinion. I have a doctors appointment scheduled in 3 day. Please i would like more information.

Usually testicular torsion presents as severe pain and your scrotum would swell as well. Has the testicle risen? Do you have nausea or have you vomited? By severe pain I mean you wouldn't be sitting at the computer typing. You'd be in agony.
You could have an infection or a variocele causing the swelling.

Thank u that is exactly what the doctor said. I went yesterday and found out it was an infection around the testicle. they gave me antibiotics and it is already feeling better. Thanks for the help though that is exactly what my doctor said that it was an infection which they think was caused by the mumps. i dont think i have the mumps i was vaccinated for it but they took my blood and urine sample and i am now waiting for the results
