Well, it is really hard to say without examining. This pain could be due to some infection, testicular , which is rarer or epididymal (tube on the testicle), which is more common.

The thing is that these infections usually cause pain even without putting pressure but I guess you never know. Some of the additional symptoms that could occur due to the infections could be fever, chills, pain upon urination, heavy sensation in the testicles, visible lump in the testicle, etc

These infections are treated by antibiotics.

Your doctor could check if you developed varicocele. It is dilation of the spermatic cord, a tube that leads blood to the testicles. Most varicocele appear on left testicles because the male anatomy is organized that way to carry more load than the right one. Although varicocele don’t usually hurt, they might and in that case your doctor can prescribe some anti-inflammatory drugs.

So, in order to figure out what it could be, you need to be examined.

My left testicle is mis shaped and does not move up and down when i cough like my right one. should i be worried and go see a doc?

I'm sorry, I am new at this. I did not mean to jump in on someone else's topic.

However...i do at times, every now and then have some pain in the testicle and it is mis-shaped.

Shnoogins,

The fact that your left testicle doesn't jump like the right one does is not remarkable.

However, if you are concerned about it, do schedule an exam with a doctor, but I wouldn't think that this is urgent. Unless you have pain in the testicle, or with cough or manipulation.
