It has been 67 days since I have stopped chewing. I was able to stop with the help of a 4mg nicotine gum. I have two more weeks chewing the gum until I am to stop. I am wondering if I continued chewing the nicotine gum a little longer, would this be harmful. Maybe if I lowered the dose to 2mg. I just feel the need to chew the nicotine gum a little longer.

Thanks :-D

If you feel you still need the nicotine in your system a while longer, go the lower dose for a while. Then take a day inbetween with no nicotine. It is to be a concentrated effort to ween yourself off the stuff. How you do it is up to you, BUT, don't lose sight of what your goal is:
nicotine freedom
