I was always thinking of Olanzapine as a different kind of medication, than benzodiazepines but recently I heard that it could cause a cross-reaction with benzodiazepines. Is this true? Auf, if it is true, how is that possible? Please, this is really important issue for me, so if you have information about this, write me.

A friend of mine is working in a drug treatment industry. I asked him about your question, and this is what he said. Olanzapine is thienobenzodiazepine, so it could cause a possible cross-reaction. Even so, some people are saying that Olanzapine is different drug to benzodiazepine. So, we both will need more checking about this issue.
