Hey, I've been on birth control for about 3 months now. Prior to that I was on the pill for about a year but got of it a few months before I started again. Anyways. I had unprotected sex on the last day of my period..well it was already gone but I still counted it as the last day. My partner and I did not use a condom and he came inside of me. I do take my birth control- Yasmin- everyday faithfully but not at the same time. This was early july. Recently, last weekend I believe, we had unprotected sex again. I am now on the "reminder" pills and have 5 more days for my period to arrive before I freak out. I am feeling symptoms but I am praying that they are premenstrual and not pregnancy ones. =[ What are the chances of me being pregnant? Am I overreacting, should I wait for the pack to finish and see?

You say you had unprotected sex last weekend. When you say "unprotected" do you mean the absence of a condom or you did not take your pill? Now, if you expect your period in about 5 days and you had unprotected sex last weekend, that would have brought you into ovulation time. I guess i am not understanding exactly what you mean.
Missing a pill here and there is not a good idea. It won't necessarily cause a pregnancy, but it does mess up your cycle. Tho, women have conceived due to the forgetfullness of taking their birth control.
I think i would hold off until the end of your cycle. See if your period comes, the go from there.
But in the future, try to take your pill at the same time everyday. It can eliminate a lot of aggrivation with break thru bleeding, a full period, spotting and pregnancy scares.
