i've been on the birth control shot for a little while now i just got my second one almost about a month ago.. and when my period started it never left. Now its not red it sometimes light brown and sometimes dark...i dont know what to do. help please.

My doc said that this was due to my body settling down on the injection. It isnt uncommon to have long periods of bleeding wioth the first 3 shots, but after 3, it should calm down, and over a period of time of continual use of the shot, it can stop your periods altogether. If you are in any doubt or are suffering due to the long bleeding, consult your doc he can give you meds to stop it.
