I need information about orthostatic bp. I heard that some antihypertensives may cause orthostatic bp. What are the symptoms of obp? Does it need to be treated separately? Should the drug dose be increased when obp occur?

Orthostatic blood pressure means hypotension which is side effect of alpha blockers. It occurs in sudden changing of position. Alpha blockers are less used antihypertensives, but hypotension is side effect that each antihypertensive drug may cause, in therapeutic or in higher concentration in blood.
