My doctor prescribed me 80mg per day of this drug that have never taken before. It made me sick but helped the pain. It has only been 3 weeks but I am done. It has been 16 hours and I am wondering how long the withdrawal will last I didn't think 3 weeks would build such a dependancy. I sort of tappered off over 4 days 80, 70, 50, 20 and then none. I have to work and I don't want people seeing me like this and I am just wondering since it is so short term will the withdrawal be short loved too? Sleeplessness, irritated, sweating, shaking, diarrhea. The good thing is I have no more but the bad thing is all I need to do is call on for more.

If you have only truthfully only been on them and no other opiates for only 3 weeks, you should be good anywhere from 2-5 days.  Everyone is different.  I was on them for 1 yr 3 months and quit cold turkey and was fine in 4 days.  But I started taking them again.  If you have any cravings or are a addict, I strongly suggest you get to some recovery meetings!!  If you are not a addict you should be ok soon....DO NOT call for more, get a recovery plan!!  Other wise you are in for alot more pain than withdrawls.

Oh, no they had me on Norco for 3 months prior to this, which I stopped 3 weeks before he prescribed the oxycodone, but I had no noteable withdrawls. I don't crave them or desire them as I assume and addict would but I can say I do have a heavy dependency for them for pain. I just don't like how they make me feel so I decided I will take the pain over the pill. I am feeling much better and I wont ever let anyone prescibe me that c**p again.
