I am about ready to start taking Suboxone. Not sure if I should take Suboxone or Subutex...any answers? I also need to know if it is safe to still take my Seroquil with this medication. Other Questions:
*Does Suboxone make you feel high?? Is it similar to Methadone?
*What miligram should I start at? I've been through detox for opiods (Heroin,OxyContin,Methadone,Dilaudid, and Morphine IV use) and have relapsed 5-6 times already...starting to have that craving restless leg syndrome crawly skin feeings...
Anyone with any help to my answers, I'd really appreciate it. I go to see the doc on Fri the 4th.

:-S Suboxone in my experience affects people differently as far as making you feel high, it always made me feel high and took all my withdrawals away within minutes after sticking it under my tongue... Not to sure about taking seroquel and suboxone at the same time I'm pretty sure that my uncle did, but that's something you would need to check with a doctor personally just to make sure, same with how many milligrams you should take of suboxone...
(Always consult a licensed doctor before listening to anyone on here who isn't, and I'm just a drug addict so my advice is probably bad) :-S

My advice: Take suboxone for as short as possible. Maybe a month or 2, then start slowly tapering down. If you stay on longer the withdrawls with be far worse than anything you can imagine.
At first it might make you feel a little high, but that goes away after a few days or so.
The mg you start at depends on your drug use in the past. I'm telling you the withdrawls are hell so remember that, try and take as little as possible. like 8mg tops.
Oh and seroquel is fine with suboxone.

Yes you can!!! My doctor prescribes me 24mg Suboxone daily and 100mg Seroquel at night. I used to take 200mg seroquel at night but that was when I was on Methadone, so i'm not sure about taking any more than 100mg. I still take Suboxone and Seroquel everyday so I am positive...

I agree. The longer you've taken Suboxone, the harder it is to get off of them. I took 3 8/2mg films a day for approximately 4 yrs. I only tappered off for a week or so. Bad idea. I went through hell.I mean pure Hell Mentally worse than Opioid. It was worse to me. Because Opioid withdrawal may be physically worse. But after a couple of weeks it gets easier. With Suboxone, it gets worse after a week or so. An emotional wreck. I got back on it ( in the program). Do Not stop taking without HELP. Or you'll regret it.

I hear that it’s not good to take them both together some people become unconscious or die from it. Some people it doesn’t affect them at all like the other person said you should ask a doctor Or Call a pharmacy
