My mother has been experiencing pains on the right side by the hip. She used to have a fiber tumor that has already been removed some years ago. Also, she sometimes experiences an acidy sensation in her stomach after eating (which may be attributed to acid reflex?) and may not be associated with the pain on her right side.
Her diet is mostly greasy, salty foods, and she drinks nothing but pop. Also, she has arthritus, whisch may perhaps be the the cause to this pain. If you would, may you please provide your knowledge to what this pain is, and what is causing it.

She could be experiencing Appendicitis! Which sounds just like what your mom is suffering from! She should book an appointment with her doctor, so they can take a look! BECAUSE she doesn't want to let it go untreated and then it bursts! so ask her to go and see a doctor and ask about her appendics OK? Good luck and health to both of you!
