I'm a 26 year old man.

For about a week, I've had pains in my pelvic area, abdomen, up in the middle of my back, my legs, and also some strange vibrating in my right leg. The pains range from ongoing to lasting just really quick to lasting for maby several seconds or a minute.

The doctor applied pressure to areas, including my back and abdomen, and had me turn and cough while checking testicles. I believe I led him to think that my problem was one of soreness, but he said to let him know if I felt any really sharp pains, and I didn't. I believe he was sort of roughly checking for a hurnia, hemroids, and prostate cancer, though any of those could still exist.

I have come to believe there's a really good chance that it's a Urinary Tract Infection. I've had various stages of what I guess would be called inflammation in the pelvic area, and also some pain at the tip of where the urine comes out. Also, I believe that my prostate became swollen. (Though I have recently began eating sunflower seeds, which are high in zinc, and are at least thought to shrink the prostate back down). There's been several times when I urinate where it sort starts off scattered, but then immediately there is a fairly strong stream. There's been several times when I could feel a burning sensation as I urinated, but it doesn't always seem to happen. A problem of incontinence where there are some excess drops of urine later on, which I guess I've had a little of for the last several years, seems to have gotten worse. I also believe I may have white blood cells and/or bacteria in my urine. I was talking to someone who is pre-med and she said that if it is a UTI, it sounds like it's already spread to the kidneys.

I have an appointment scheduled for 9:15 Fri. at the clinic. All I want to go do is just have a urine sample done, and they can check for UTI and other stuff. The doc said last time that next time I was in there, he would want to do a rectal exam, but I really don't think that's a good idea, as I have some soreness there as well. The first one from another doctor the day before Thanksgiving damaged me badly enough!

So what does everyone think? If they don't find anything, I may not know for a while, so please let me know.

Strange. I got my urine tested this morning and it apparently all came back negative. They took my blood, but I've got to wait for the results. They're checking a bunch of stuff. Maby then I'll find out what's going on.
