If everything goes fine, which it will you should be in the hospital for about 2-3 days.

I'm considering having this procedure and was told by a Doctor at Kaiser Permanente that I will be released the same day. This is a very serious and life changing thing, it just seems as if 2 to 3 days stay for observation would be good pactice for something that takes 4 to 6 weeks to recover.

Hi. Not sure if this is too late to post, but will anyway because someone else may need the infl. I had a partial 09/19 laprascopicaly(sic). I had had both fallopian tubes removed years ago, though. I was only there the day of the surgery. Arrived at 5:45am and was home by 4:00pm. My husband had to help me walk. I did have so bleeding through small abdomen surgery site right after surgery, but they rebandaged it and it was fine after. My stomach was very swollen and sore. Felt very heavy. But, I only needed the prescribed pain pills that day. Have been doing great. I was driving again by the first Monday after surgery and working out on treadmill that Tuesday after. I am doing fine now. Swelling is going down, but cannot do any strenuous work out for 3 more weeks according to doc. All in all, I am doing fine. Occasionally have lower back pain, but never need pain pills. Hope everyone does well and don't be nervous. I really took care of myself (hubby did too) and juiced organic veggies/ate lots of fruit/water/green tea. No sugar or caffeine. I feel great.
