i started taking perc due to my chronic back pain. i would really like to stop taking them but it is hard to get over the withdraw symptoms. what i have found that actually did work is getting up and getting active. you may feel like you couldnt possibly get out of bed due to the horrible symptoms, trust me i know, but getting up and taking a walk or running for a short time really kicks up your endorphins and helps you feel better natually. endorphins are your bodies natural "happy" pills and exercising really does help with the pain. if you can stand to get out of bed and just take the pain for a little while you do start to feel better. also with the insomnia issue, for me exercising really helped with that, after a long and light run or walk it tires your body out, helps you feel great and also helps you to sleep.
