Hi im 18 years old and i need some advice.
it has been 40 days since my last period. my boyfriend and i have had unprotected sex quite a few times this month. i took a hpt a few days ago but it was not a name brand test and it was not taken with my first urine of the day, the results were negative. i have not gone this long without my period. i went to the doctor concerned that i might be pregnant and i am going today for testing. the catch is i started bleeding slightly today, it hasn't amounted to much, a few drops over the length of the morning, do you think im starting my period or is this a normal sign of pregnancy? i've also been experiencing strange cramps on my sides and some headaches. im not sure is this is all in my head if im pregnant. do any of these symptoms sound normal? how do tell the difference between spotting and a period? are there any other signs of pregnancy i should look for? please reply if you can help me.
