Whew, I'm happy to see these posts. The pink stuff (complete with weird little bits that are clearly not natural!) started one day after treatment and has continued for four days now. It's a bit off-putting! I'm wondering at what point should I worry if it doesn't stop soon.

I am in a foreign country and used Canesten, since Monistat wasn't available. It was a six day treatment and I experienced a light pink heavy discharge that then became a very light discharge coloured orange. I am extremely relieved to read other women are experiencing the same problems!

It totally freaked me out, but after reading all your replies I am so relieved that this is normal. THank you thank you thank you all for sharing your experience and yes I agree with everyone, thank god for the internet!! :) I can now continue on with my weekend with no worries.

I also had the pink discharge! I was extremely worried, but thanks to this I can be at ease. I had never had a yeast infection before so I didn't know what to expect!

Thank goodness for you ladies! I used the Monistat 1 ovule on on a Wednesday night and had blood specs in discharge by Friday. The next day it was already just a pinkish dischrage but was still COMPLETELY WORRIED. I am glad to see that it must be something with the Monistat and probably not my health. I have my annual pap in 5 days. I will ask my Doctor and try and remember to let you all know what he said the cause could be. Thanks again for all of you posting your own experiences! I can sleep easier now until I see the Doc!!

oh my god oh my god! you have no idea how happy i was to find this thread. i used the walgreens equivalent to the monistat one day and after the medicine not "coming out" for 2 or 3 days it started to pass with chunky pink discharge and i was FREAKING OUT. but after reading this thread i see that it is relatively normal. thanks for making me feel soooo much better about my symptoms!

It's so good to hear that I'm not the only one with the pink discharge and that it sometimes happens! Antibiotics forced me to use Monistat, and I was worried I'd have to stop. Good to know I'm not alone!

I freaked out and didn't know what to do... 5 days earlier I took the Plan B pill and I thought It might have something to do with that but I also thought it might have something to do with my urethra... oh no.. XD
Now I feel so much better :)

I shaved a couple weeks ago. So sorry I did. I feel like I am being punished. I developed ingrown hairs, then a yeast infection, now this pink discharge. I am PAINFULLY sorry that I shave down there. I swear to GOD, I will NEVER DO IT AGAIN! I feel as if I am being punished for my behavior.

I was also freaking out. I am 26 and have never had a yeast infection before. I used monistat 1 and that burns. Then I started having a pink discharge mixed with very light blood. I am glad to know that I am not the only one. They need to post these side effects when using this product.

I'm relieved to find this, like the rest of you. Good to know I'm not the only one having the light bloody discharge after using Monistat 1. I treated my yeast infection 5 days ago and everyday since then I've had the light bleeding. I am 33 and I get a yeast infection about once or twice a year at most. I usually use Monistat 1 or an equivalent but I have never had this happen! I don't know if it has something to do with the what part of your cycle you are on. I am expecting my period in a few days. I've heard that once you have your period that it rebalances everything. I've been eating yogurt and taking extra probiotic supplements and trying to avoid sugar (sugar feeds yeast) so hoping this bleeding stops with my next period. Monistat definitely needs to put a some type of warning on the insert that it may cause light bleeding. :/

So I am on my 3rd night of this God for saken medicine and it still burns like a chemical burn almost. Anyways today I noticed bleeding, just thought it was more medicine coming out till I went to b/room, I was scared! I can't believe this, I have used other kinds before and never had this happen. It is like pasty pink orange at first now it's just like a period, idk, I'm still bleeding some, 8 days away from starting normal period, does anyone have advice? Has this happened to anyone?
