How are you doing now? I had thoracic laminectomy T11 -T12 with fusion. Only to have more symptoms now 1 year since surgery. Leg cramps and toe lockup burning and numbness increasing. My active life style has come to a halt and walking is a chore.

I never recovered
Had the surgery and constant pain in legs toes
And have to have adaptive equipment which I did not have before
I am now with eastern medicine doctors
I do not believe doctors when they say they have come a long way in this area
No
Rather stay home until it’s time

I had a laminectomy in December of 2019 and I still can't walk more than 50-75 feet. My legs are very weak. Did physical therapy, don't think it will get much better. I can't stand or walk.

I had a laminectomy (L2,L3,L4, and L5) 8 weeks ago. The surgical site has healed, but I still have significant pain throughout my sciatic nerve all the way down to my foot. I have been taking prescribed medication as well as applying Biofreeze several times a day. I even wear a copperfit sock that covers my foot to my knee. Hopefully, this pain will diminish over time. I thought it would have been a lot better by now. I have to see my surgeon on 12/23. Can't wait to start P/T. My right leg has weakened considerably. Any suggestions ?

I had bunion surgery a year ago and I still have pins and needles and my foot is very stiff and my toe doesn’t touch the floor without bending which causes pain through my ankle my doctor thinks it might’ve been the nerve block they gave me in the back of my knee into the popliteal nerve so how long does that nerve take to heal I was also told that if I’m not healed after a year from nerve damage that it’s possible that it will not heal. I tried hot laser therapy , Shockwave, chiropractor, injections with lidocaine B12 and ozone gas therapy and then even considering PRP and hyperbaric oxygen chamber. What are your thoughts about anything that I have said

Use the hopping cart as a walker. After I go to Sam's and wlk the entire store, with a couple breaks for rest, the followimg day is much better. WALK. I cn't dive o I am sat the mercy of a neighbor diver. Without walking, I am quickly reverting back. I live in the country and there is no public transpoortation.

I am 4 weeks post laminectomy with fusion.  After surgery, the initial pain I complained about for years was gone.  However, my right foot and up one side of my leg became numb.  Like a novacaine numb.  I am being told this will or should correct itself with time.  The numbness continues and gets bad at night.  Seems my pain level after surgery went from a 0 or 1 back to a 3 or 4 but in new areas.  Again, I am being told by the surgeon this should be repaired by time to alow nerves and bone to adjust and renew.  I am getting depressed.  I was doing so well that even my therapist were amazed.  As of today it seems as though I have gone backwards and my gait is off, my legs are stiff and my incision area hurts.  Not to mention good old fashioned sciatica switching from right side to left!  I have to keep asking if I did something to bring this on or is this normal?

I have sciatica so I also take Magnesium also. Yet the best help I have found is a daily dose of six ounces of tonic water. As in Gin and Tonic. It's the quinine. I've been doing it for a year now, and I have felt nothing brought on by it but relief. At 99 cents, it's a damn good cheap fix. All I can say is that one bottle is worth a thousand words.
