I'm worried about getting pregnant after having protected sex with my boyfriend. A condom was used, but he pulled out about 30 seconds to a minute after he had ejaculated so I could finish. There was a lot of fluid in the condom when he took it off, but the outside was also wet (from me... I'm hoping). There were no rips in the condom, but I'm worried that he didn't get out soon enough. Should I be worried at all? I don't want to have anxiety over nothing, but I also don't want to be unconcerned and end up pregnant. Please help.

There's really not too much to worry about. If the condom stayed rolled down over his penis there really is VERY little risk. Was his penis still hard when he pulled out?

The reason you are supposed to pull out right after you ejaculated is because as your penis becomes soft, it obviously also becomes smaller - then the condom is no longer tight, so the semen can leak out easier. If he was still hard that risk really isn't there.

Also - do you know if your condom had spermacide? If not - you should get them in the future. It's just another layer of protection so you don't have to worry as much!

Finally - can I ask how old you two are? Was this your first time?
