I need advice regarding one problem. I am 32 years old, in 14th week pregnancy. I am already a mother of 3 year old, so I have one experience with pregnancy, but this time is different, I think. Well, it is true that I am not working now and I am less physically active then I was when I was carrying my first son.
This is scaring me little, and I have no one to ask this, so here it comes… for the past week I am noticing some kind of fingering, like this tinny itching in my fingers. They are also little swollen. Is this something that is normal during pregnancy? As I said, during my first pregnancy I never had these feelings, so I am little bit worried if everything is ok.
Thanks for advice!

Well, it is hard to say whether this is normal and you shouldn’t worry… this is up to doctor to decide, after she/ he gives you a check up.
But, in general, yes, fingering, swollen hands, legs, happen lots of times during pregnancy. You mention a fact, that made me think, you said you were more physically active during your first pregnancy and you never had this sort of problems. I am a mother of 2 (daughter is 6 and son is 2 years old). I was also working when I was pregnant with Luna and had no problems. But when I was pregnant with Nico I was at home and was mostly sitting. I gained 45 pounds then … huh… I also had problems with swollen legs and hands… my fingers got twice as big as normal and they got to cut off my wedding ring off, because it was restraining my blood In fingers, which got so big, I couldn’t take it off. So, with my warmest thought, I sincerely suggest you visit a doctor, describe your situation, and get some professional answers. Besides, I sincerely recommend you get physically active, of course, do not exaggerate (like running or thinks that are exhausting), just move, for example take a short walk at least twice a day, you shall see, you will feel much better and maybe your circulation will also improve. But as I said, consult your doctor, this is inevitable.
