i've been in birth control for a little over a year now. i really want to concieve.. i stopped taking my birth control in the middle of my pack on this past monday. i had sex tuesday and my husband went in me. wednesday i had light pink discharge, and thursday it was brown. it's friday now and it's like a really heavy but really dark period. is it normal since i stopped my birth control in the middle of my pack? could i still be pregnant?

i would say you still could be pregnant. i would go to a doctor just incase. i would be very worried about my childs health, not say that you aren't. But i would really go to a doctor and tell them what had happened and what is going on now.

Because you suddenly stopped taking the pill, it's possible that it is an early period. It has happened to me, 4 months ttc :) I wish you baby dust

The same thing happened to me. I have just stopped taking the pill, I had sex, then about a week later I got my period early. Started of as spotting then got really dark and heavy. It only lasted 3 days. Apparently it's because I stopped the pill, it's called a withdrawal bleed. I doubt you are pregnant, I would wait to see if you miss your next period. Obviously if the bleeding lasts longer than your usual period would or you are getting painful cramps then go and see a doctor. Best of luck!
