I was miss diagnosed with anxiety too. I had similar symptoms and Drs. couldn't find anything so they drowned me with Xanax and antidepressants, they symptoms were masked by the numbing meds. So the symptoms did go away for a while but returned with more vigor. They continued to say anxiety and I knew I had been misdiagnosed. Finally, a doctor recognized my symptoms as autoimmune flares. I had internal, vascular, muscular, tissue inflammation. These 'flares would always subside as they do after 4-6 week's of symptoms. The doctor recognized these and I am now completely off of the numbing meds I was on from the wrong diagnosis if anxiety. I hope you are doing better and are receiving the right care.

Have you been checked for inflamation related to some autoimmune issues. I have had these very same sensations until they became too intense to live with. My Dr. did some tests and found a high level of C-reactive protein. Which is just a marker for nonspecific inflamation, but it later lead to a strong autoimmune diagnosis which I have been treated for and most of my symptoms are gone.

Wow, your post saved me !!! I've been getting that pulsating feeling in my head for about 3 days now ( including dizziness) and had my doctor put me on high blood pressure pills. But I'm also on anti-depression medication and realized that I haven't been taking my medicine for 4 days. Not sure how I could forget, but I just swallowed an anti-depression pill...man I hope that solves my problem !!

Go see a chiropractor!!! I was experiencing all of these same symptoms for months on end and no doctors could figure it out. I spent so much money on testing. I started going to a chiropractor three weeks ago and he also does acupuncture. I have a cervical misalignment and after my first treatment with him, I was feeling sooooo much relief within 24 hours.

Go see a chiropractor. I was having the same issues for months and he helped me tremendously! Don't waste your money on specialists- I did that and regret it. I have a cervical misalignment and my chiropractor had me feeling so much better within 24 hours!

Has anyone figured out what causes this? I have the pulsing light headed filling for several years thought I had finally figured out what it was when my nose throat and eat doctor said that my hearing test showed I had what leads to veritgo in my right ear. And asked if I got light headed and if my felt like it was spinning. I got my hopes up and I told him no but I do have a series of pulsing sensation threw my head. He said that was caused from high blood .
NOT !!! I had already been tested for high blood ,thyroid. And I have neither. Just feel like giving up and just accepting it as normal.
