Not sure if already mentioned, but I suggest everyone check to see if it's a sinus issue.

I experience these pulsating dizzy spells in my head as well and am now ruling out the possibility that it is cardiac or heart related. My general physician prescribed a heart monitor, or event monitor, to measure and record my heart signature along with collecting data from my feelings, experiences and observations. I have also undergone a great deal of stress and anxiety in the past few months and am curious if the dizzies are linked to the stress/anxiety.

Not sure if it's the same as mine, but all your problems sound like me and for years they ran every test possible...finally, after taking a stool sample they found that I have candida overgrowth throughout my intestinal tract. The dizziness is usually worse as soon as I eat anything and feels like my brain is pulsating. Could be this.

Hello Guys, My Name is Sean and im very experienced on this topic. I to myself had these feelings and would like to share my findings with you. First of all im not a doctor but i had pulsating sensations and slight shock feelings in my head which created slight dissyness which then made it exsteamly dificult to concentrate on day to day tasks. Confidence lowered and a feeling of not being in control the way you use to. I had this for 9 years ONLY becuuse i let it get the better of me and because i didnt go to see a doctor and thought i could deal with it by myself. Which i did. After this feeling had gone i sucessfully set up a new business. I want to list a few things that could be causing this for you.

1. Sugar Intake to low.

2. Caffine

3. Moving to fast and getting in a twist. (Take it Slow)

Just remember not to panic , There is nothing wrong with you and remember you will always be in control.  A fantasic excersise to really turn on and off the pulsations is when your lieing in bed. Try to follow the next pulsation and feel when its going to happen, this way you can begin to really feel that its just your heart beat pulsing all the way to your head but in a really pounding way. As you feel each thump in your head try to let it get worse because i found that its like my head was trying to stop the pulsating feeling and when it was trying to resist this is when it made me feel dissy. After a while you will start to relax and feel more in control again and then it will soon go away without you knowing and it will just be another experience. Remember if you try to resist these feelings it will only get worse and creat headaches.

Let me know how you found my information and if you have any questions please ask.

Sorry about the spellings. :)

Also a few other things i left out.

Alcohol is a no no when having these feelings and another test to do if your having the same feeling is sit down, keep your head and body still and look left as far as you can and you might feel dizzy, try it right as well. this is the feelings i had, and also when driving over small bombs in the road it feels like a sudden shocking feeling inside your head.

OMG. I am having the same thing and couldnt figure it out. I was just recovering from possible cdiff (they thought) then it was diagnosed as listeria. I was on many antibiotics. At the same time, I slacked taking some Verapamil for migraine and stopped a low dose of lexapro - 10 mg. I was concerned I had menengitis or something. I kept taking my blood pressure and had resumed my Verapamil and everything was on course except the lexapro. I even took aspirin in case i had a blockage in a carotid artery. I did not even thing of the lexapro as a possibilty. My symptoms were some pulses in my head that were brief and not painful like and electric wave It would cause dizziness but not really vertigo. It really caused me more anxiety than needed. I had run out of the lexapro and had no refills. I would suggest everyone think of all the possibilties before worrying too much. I competely forgot about lexapro until i read this. I really thought I might have meningitis since I've been sick for 2 weeks with nausea and bloody stools and they just figured out it was listeria.

Have you guys or anyone else experiencing these symptoms ever looked into fatty liver.  Your liver controls a lot of the functions in the body, and can also cause dizziness, neck pain and muscle and tendon pain.  Trust me, it's going to drive you mental.  I went to several drs and specialists all telling me it was in my head and sending me to several therapists.  I never gave in though, I knew it was more than just anxiety.  Don't fk with me, I know my body, and although it doesn't show up on your stupid tests doesn't mean it's not real.  The pie on their face was just icing on the cake.

I've had this every day since November 2014. The first 3 months I had this it was the worst. One night I woke up from this intense pulsation in my head. No pain. Since that day I had it every day for 3 months. I built up so much anxiety from it I was admitted into the ER twice within that time. Went to primary care doctors, urgent care, dentist,ENT, neuro. I had so many tests done including an MRI of the head and also CT scan. Everything came back clear and no one could give me an answer. It was almost debilitating to me I took a two week leave off my job. Finally after maybe 3 or 4 months my symptoms seemed to lessen and I finally felt like I could live my life. I stopped worrying about it which helped a lot. The neuro told me if it was anything critical like an aneurism it would have already happened. I stopped eating gluten which seemed like it was helping but then eventually added it back into my diet again. I also take magnesium every day now which I honestly think helps a lot. Just recently I started getting the twitching again. It sucks because I was without them for a good few months I thought it was gone and then feeling them come back is the worst. I also get quick tiny twitches throughout my body. I really hope one day to find the cause of this because it really is so annoying. Just try not to get yourself so worked up over it. I used to literally not leave my house because I was so nervous something was gonna happen to me. You can't live like that! Hope we can find a cause but for now I have self diagnosed myself with BFS. Look it up. Just benign twitches. I like reading your responses knowing that I am not alone though because every neuro I went to thought I was crazy or it was just stress!

Hi, I've been having these symptoms for about a year now. The seem to be increasing in severity. Around October of last year it was thought that I had a thyroid problem but the tests all came back normal. Did you ever seek medical attention and if so, what was the diagnosis? If you don't mind me asking.
