I don't really know how to explain the feeling, but its very strange and obnoxious. I've been having these odd feelings in my head for about 2 years now. It stopped for about a year but now its back. There is no headache accompanied with these strange feelings, but its like a tingling in my head, and it feelings kind of like I'm going to pass out, but i never have with this. Its so obnoxious, and it normally occurs at school, or when I'm with a lot of people, and just like anything it gets worse the more i think about it. It sometimes helps to sit down and take a quick rest, but today that didn't help at all. These feelings started when i was 13, and was hit in the eye with a football (long long story). I'm 15, and this feeling is pretty much controlling my life. I call it a "feeling" because i really don't know how else to describe it. I normally become extremely hot as well when this occurs. It is kind of like a dizziness, but not exactly. My eyesight becomes somewhat blurry, but not impairing my vision to a great extent. I have no idea what to do. Any Ideas?

You have symptoms of social anxiety disorder. It usually starts with an unpleasant or embarassing encounter in a group situation. Regular physical exercise helps to alleviate the symptoms. Find somebody that you like to hang out with. It does not have to be a bf/gf kind of situation. Just enjoy doing things together. Find some school activities that you enjoy participating in. Talk to a school psychologist or counselor if you have one at your school.
