Hi, there. Purpura Henoch-Shonlein is a form of vasculitis. Vasculitis represents an inflammation of blood vessels. Many conditions can follow vasculitis. Purpura HS affects small caliber blood vessels called capillaries. Skin and kidney capillaries are mostly affected. Skin rash is frequent. Abdominal and joint pain can also be present. I hope this helps. Bye!
