Red/purple lump outside the vagina near right leg

Okay I am really embarressed to say this but I have been super conserned about this

I have just turned 15 and have never had sex but as i was in the shower today a noticed a redish purpleish lump on the outside of my labia area near the crease of my leg. There is only one and it is pretty small, probably smaller than a dime but when i touch it and apply pressure it feels hard. Really what it looks like is a pimple you would get on your face. Im thinking it might be a bartholin gland cyst but im not sure. It is only painful when touched and even then its only a slight pain. I really dont want to tell my parents or anyone esle if I dont have to and if it will just go away on its own because its so embarressing. Please tell me what you might think it is and what I can do to get rid of it. Thanks
