Dear Friends me and my brother is diagnosed with this f*****g RP its very panic for us sometimes we think that we are useless due to this condition i lost my girl friend. today peoples spending billions of $ for War, drugs, sex, etc,. but what i am saying that if the UN or any other organizatin make one research center at one place of the world and bring top scientces , doctors , and researchers and provide them funds from governments, or chirity , and donations from billionaires, or from peoples, i hope that the treatment will available in less time.  but we need to strike or force on the government to find a solution for it. i heard in philipine they cure rp with stem cell but i am confuse and not sure.

I've taken this treatment for 6 months and I'm having better vision from the first day! (night vision, peripheral vision)  Also my brother is having this treatment.

My name is Mary I am 43 years old and have just been diagnosed with RP i have had night vision blindness since I was 15 but about a year ago started with tunnel vision I read about an accupunturist by the name of Gail in San Diego went in for the first time I had two seessions and I did notice like I had a panoramic view. I am still going in for more treatments but I feel that it is working for me. While I was in the waiting room was talking to another patient with the same issue she has been going aprox for a week and states she no longer has tunnel vision and her night vision also has improved. I am one of people who refuse to give up and any light of hope I am willing to try.

Hi, Unfortunately, Retinitis Pigmentosa has no permanent cure. It can only be brought under control. Anti Oxidants and Vitamin Supplements can help in this. Low Vision Aids can help with near vision.

My son was recently diagnosed with RP (a teenager). My family and I have done a lot of research on whats the best solution to slow the progression of this disease. I find this particular forum topic to be really helpful & hearing your stories. What are your reccomendations for treatment options? We are leaning towards natural supplements. I follow Dr. Barns regine- 15,000 un vitamin A palmitate, 12 un Lutein, omega 3 DHA 200 ot fish 3 times a week.
there are other supplements like billbery, bluberry, chia seeds .
I cant really say if its helping or not but since that is the only measure to take at this time - I am doing that. BTW iM 50 years old just 2 years ago was diagnosed and my eye specialist told me recently he sees no change - I guess thats good news.

Terrible to learn of that one person of your family in such dire diseases ill but mostly it's always the innocent.  The doctor on the side is a very good, which are dealing with almost all his life with this disease and the most beautiful is anyway that you Nowadays, such diseases can even be healed in several ways. I very much hope that I could help you.
