I later tried again and had a boy at 27 Weeks all my children have been RH possitive, my son received Pubs Transfusions, my sensitization is off the charts, and Rhogam is not going to help me since the antibodies are already in my system, the good news is that my son is alive and well .I have a 14yr old and a 7 yr old. Out of 4 children I have 2...I have now remarried and would love to have a child with my husband, however if he's possitive I am afraid our dream of having a child.together will never occur...Being RH negative has been a curse to me, I love being pregnant and being a mother and this situation has brought me much sadness...

itisi,

My sister and myself are RH-, my sister has had three beautiful girls with no complications when it comes to being RH-. I have only just found out I am RH- as I am only 8 weeks pregnant. My doctor has referred me to a specialist, however, my sister has put my mind at ease alot on this subject.

Someone please help. A little over two years ago I misscarried at 13 weeks. I'm rh a- blood type and although I spotted at 11 weeks I was never told about the rhogam shot until I was in the hospital miscarrying. I had the rhogam shot. Since then we've been trying to conceive again and have been unsuccessful. Something in my head is telling me something isn't right, when I got pregnant it was our first time trying( going of birth control) and now we have been unsuccessful for 2 years. Does anyone have any advice?

You will have no probelms if you are both negative there is no chance you will reject a baby with a negative blood. It's only bad if your spouse has a positive blood group.

If your spouse is rh neg then you should have less worries and no need for a rhogam as your baby will also be rh neg and your body will not think of it as a contaminant. My first child's father was rh neg and I had zero complications and no need for the rhogam shot after she was born. I have two small boys with an rh pos father and though both boys are healthy the pregnancies were very hard on me and I have not been able to carry past 27 weeks without a miscarriage now even after a rhogam shot. I hardly think its due to my age since I'm only 27 but after reading how many others here have had difficulties with multiple pregnancies of rh pos babies I am not very hopeful that I can carry again. This rh neg blood feels like a curse. Good luck to everyone trying
