ohi I just wanted to let anyone know that if you are Rh negative you are supposed to get the shot right away. if your doctor doesn't give it to you go to the er. you're supposed to get at least 3 shots one when you first find out , one after 12wks and another 12wks after(just before your due date).

You have no problem at all! once your husband is negative just like u, antibodies cannot attack the fetus because fetus can only be negative just like you. Problem arises when your husband is rh positive.

I have Rh- and have a second baby by 2011. It was normal pregnancy but i had to get the injections to prevent red cells to enter my blood stream coz i could miscarriage but she is f9. Then after delivery i had to get another injection for future pregnancy. You have to attend antenatal classes as early as 2 months to avoid complications.good luck

Yes, you need a shot if you miscarry. My daughter has been through this, lost three babies, with two she received the shot. I'm not certain if they gave her one with the last miscarriage. She is now about 27 weeks pregnant and is having baby labor along with contractions. She's at the ER as I type, so I can't say as to whether or not this will end badly or they can just go ahead and give her the shot and monitor the pregnancy.

I am rh-negative and i have a healthy 8 yr old son. Im currently pregnant after miscarrying 5 months ago. I always get the shot, however, there was an miscarriage because of a chromosome abnormality. I read up on natural stones from the earth that have natural healing. You have to read up on it.Search for pregnancy bracelet and you will see what I mean. Someone have gotten through their pregnancies with the natural healing of the stones that are in the bracelet. No magic tricks, no voodoo mess. Just natural earth stones. I just purchased one. With prayers and hope, Im belieiving in God and not in the bracelet but its there just for extra support. Hope this helps ;)

Yes I was 37 when I was pregnant with our second child, but unfortunately at (2 Months) (2 weeks) & (2 Days) pregnant on March 15, 2011 we were givin the bad news that that wasn't going to be a good pregnancy & that my body was going to reject the pregnancy, do to the mistake of not getting the shot on time. We lost the child. So now another four years later I'm 40 years old & found out yesterday May 12, 2015 (Tues.) that we're pregnant again after realizing I was on day five of my missed cycle. Now I'm (3 weeks) $ (7 days) pregnant & was not taking prenatal exposure vitamins, nor did I take no shot before we got pregnant, nor till today. And I'm still waiting for a phone call from a nurse to tell me if I'm too late to take the shot or if it is really necessary to even take it at all, being o- blood type. :-/. So I don't really what is going to happen to this third pregnancy. I do have a healthy 8 year old son that I did get the help of "The Women'/Hospital of Houston", to help me understand my body better or explain, a a women may not know, then you go to the experts, & they make mistakes too, so I guess those are some of the risks that come with it. :-/. Nothing is 100 % sure. Just have faith & pray a lot for yourself, to accomplish your goals even in conceiving a child. If it was meant for you, it was meant for you, if mp not understand, that maybe if it didn't happen is because mom or child were going to be at risk. Or there going to be complications, we were not going to be strong or prepared to face, so didn't happen. And take it as it is. Jehovah God will be the judge of that only not us to question, just accept. And move on & be great film with what is given to you. And just still put on a happy face for those around you & yourself, because after all life goes on. Good luck to us. ;-)

I've only had one pregnancy that lasted until 24 weeks. My doctor didn't catch that I was RH- and by 12 weeks, I hemorrhaged and was passing blood clots the size of lemons. They tested my blood at the ER, said I was A- RH- (my parents are both A+) and needed the Rhogam shot. I got this shot a few times throughout my pregnancy due to my body building a tolerance from not getting it earlier... (I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks.) Anyways, I did get to meet my daughter. My water broke at 20 weeks, I went into labor at 22 weeks and 5 days, I rode out active labor until week 24. It almost killed me, but I couldn't live with myself if I didn't push myself to cook her to a point to where I could meet her... And I did. Her lungs weren't fully developed and she had been born for 30 minutes before she took a breath, and by then I was getting the "severely brain damage" speech, and I simply asked that they take her off machines and let me hold her. I held her for 2 hours before she died in my arms. They gave me a Rhogam shot before I left the hospital. It's been 2 years this last June. I haven't taken birth control in 9 months and still haven't gotten pregnant. Though terrifying, we will see how this results.

If your negative and your husband is your baby will not be affected by it because the baby will be a negative blood type it's self. So you don't need the shot

I am RH- & my husband was RH+ (both 0). My first daughter was born in 1965 one month early & had breathing/sucking problems. My second daughter was born in 1968 & is RH- so was fine. They said nothing about a shot. My son was born in 1969 3 wks early, is RH+ & has had learning problems/low IQ all his life. He was in Speccial Ed all through school & is on SSI. Could this have been caused because I didn't receive a shot after my 2nd baby? They did give me a shot after my son was born but I had no more babies.

No..you only need the shot if your negative and the father is positive..and it's two shots..one normally around 25 weeks and another after you have the baby..my child is the one percent of extreme cases!
