Hi,
I started Roaccutane 2 months ago. My first periods were after 5 days of taking roaccutane and my second periods have disappeared alltogether.
I went to GP and I was told that I do not have to worry atleast for 3 months. My demratologist says it has nothing to do with Roaccutane.
I am just so confused ? . My periods were normal but why all of a sudden to did not come. To make it more clear I am not pregnant as I never had sex in my life so far. Waiting for the right one :-)
Also I recently studied about a girl who was 19 and suffered with diabeties because of roaccutane and has to be on multiple tests.
Please suggest as a normal individual as to what should I do.... continue roaccutane or just leave my acne to god so that my periods be normal and I dont risk my fertility.

Your dermatologist is not aware of the research that vitamin A deficiency causes heavy periods Since Roaccutane is a high dose of vitamin A is makes complete sense that your periods might disappear. Of course, most doctors are clueless when it comes to research.
