i had an in-office procedure to remove a benign cyst from the left inner side of my labia minora. the procedure was very fast. previously, the doctor had told me she would need to put a couple of stitches in and that they would dissolve. instead she cauterized the area with silver nitrate. now i have an ugly black gaping hole, ulcerated (white raised area around it) and the whole area is greyish-black. it is huge and much more unsightly than the original bump. i trusted the doctor not to maim me...how is this going to heal? The ulcerated black hole is bigger/feels more raised than the small colorless lump was. i've been washing with soap and water and using bacitracin ointment.
