I am scared to be on Levaquin ever again. I used it for 9 days because I had a UTI and gave me 500 mg of this. Then second time I have to go back on it 750mg for 10 days. it gave me insomnia for 10 days!! I asked the pharmacist if this causes insomnia and trouble sleeping and he said no. It made me dizzy and I felt like I was in the clouds and I scarred of this drug.

My husband was prescribed of 750mg Levaquin for 4-5 days weekend for a sinus infection. On the third day he experienced metal taste, headache, and swelling in his ankle as if broken. Intermittent sharp pains in his left leg from his ankle to his knee to his thigh, indigestion and at one point had trouble catching his breath. He called a doctor, who ordered an ankle x-ray and leg circulation tests. I believe that this is a side effect of this drug. I am also scared from Levaquin.
