I had sex for the first time after surgery on day 19 post op. I did achieve orgasam and just like you described I also had tightening and burning in and around my vagina during and after. I also had the anal spasms that you mentioned but I wouldn't go as far to say it was painful, but it definitely was not the norm. We are very sexually active and 19 days had been the longest we had gone without being intimate for over 30 years so I assumed it was just "out of practice". We were in the "missionary" position as I am still sore and healing and he was afraid he was going to hurt me the entire time. If I had know this surgery had such a long healing process I am not sure I would have gone thru with it. On the positive side the excessive bleeding I was experiencing prior to surgery has not happened in the 3 weeks post op so far.

I had sex with my 25 year old partner (I am a 37 year old female with a male 25 year old), and he knew I was in pain PRE- surgery and it I thought it was painful. I had sex with him 7 days POST - surgery, and all he did was pick me up and take me to the bedroom and the simple act of him grabbing my butt hurt. I should never have had sex that soon post op. It made healing that much longer and more painful and he was gentle. This is the longest I have ever gone without sex when I have a willing partner, and seriously it is worse than any punishment the police or a judge could hand down. I need sex, and I need it now. I am 10 days post op. I could try it again, but I would be at 60% at BEST. And, it is not worth the set back. I would rather wait and be at 100% in another week. I am so very sexually frustrated. Masterbating (just the clitoris manually) hurts due to the tightening one experiences via orgasm. I feel you all. This is my 8th surgery - I have had a C-Section, Gallbladder removed...all the BIG ones...the hemroidectomy was the WORST and it is like no one talks about it because it is the boodie. I say we need to raise awareness.

Anal sex is not normal, it's an orafus for fecal matter to exit not intended to put objects in. ONE reason for getting hammorhides. ..

Thanks to all those people who shared their experiences - I am a straight woman who happens to really enjoy anal sex, (or at least I did before hemorrhoids, which in my case were caused by pregnancy). The responses here that were on topic were very helpful. Thank you to those is in the gay community especially who responded. I think that it shows true kindness and concern for the health and safety of others that you chose to share your experiences despite the vitriol being thrown about. I'm glad that you were brave. I'm sorry that, when you tried to help me and people like me, you were met with hatred and ignorance. Blessings and peace my friends.
