O.k. this can't be right. I had sex for the first time a few days ago( almost 4) and I felt no pain with only about 1/4 cup of blood. I expected that because I bleed a lot. Today I started my period and it was horrific! I use pads and this has never happened before. I went into the bathroom literaly 5 min later and the pad was soaked and almost dripping with blood! When I went to change it I was pouring blood, it was like someone turned on a faucet and let it run. There was blood every where, on the floor, on my hands and all over my lower extremeties. For how much blood there was it looked like a murder took place. Wtf just happened? Please help me I'm so scared. :'(

GET TO A DOCTOR NOW! There is never any reason why someone should bleed like that unless their is something seriously wrong. Not even after things like abortions do people bleed like that. If your soaking a tampon and a pad where it's like dripping and soaking through your pants and getting all over everything you need medical help, please lemme know how everything turned out.

You should go to another doctor for second opinion. Don't be scared okay...because if anything was seriously wrong, you would know it by now. There are also birth controls that help heavy periods. My older cousin was the same way. She would soak her bed at night to the point where it looked like someone had gotten murder! And she went on some kinda birth control shot where she doesn't even get her period now. Maybe like some spotting every now and then. In my opinion not the healthiest choice, cause woman should have a monthly period, but if the bleeding is too much for you to handle go to a second doctor and get another opinion and talk to them about meds or birth controls that could help slow or stop the bleeding. Good luck, and if you do, lemme know how it goes!
