i had sex with someone(unprotected) the next day she started on her period but still took the PLAN B morning after pill..... and recently we had sex again (unprotected) but this time its around her ovulation time.... i never came inside her nor out... never ejaculated at all..... but obviously there was pre-cum ... her period should be coming sometime around 11th of july.... both of the times it was basically within this month..... so i guess the question is... what are the chances?? and how early does someone starts to feel/show the symptoms?? and how should i take it from here...? thanks

Hi: The chances of her being pregnant from the 1st time you had unprotected sex and her using the Plan B pill are about 1% - due to the Plan B pill being 99% effective. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for this last time you had unprotected sex. Having unprotected sex is playing Russian Roulette right?!!! If you attempt it one too many times - BANG!!!! So I hope for both your sakes that this isn't the bang time!!! I'm a great believer in people having knowledge and then they make decisions based on that knowledge. So perhaps you both not using protection means you might want to be pregnant!!! If that is true, you might just get your wish!! From you stating that she is due for her period on July 11th I will assume that she had her last period on June 11 or there abouts. So without knowing the exact dates I would think that you had the unprotected sex again about the 20th of June. So you wont be able to tell till very close to her next period! HCG levels rise each day after contraception, so IF she is pregnant say on the 20th that will give you 3 weeks, that should be sufficient time to tell. Just know one other thing, more and more women are getting their periods well into their 1st trimester of pregnancy, so even if she gets her period, that might not mean that she is not pregnant. So depending on the outcome that you want, I would just wait till around the 11th of July - I know it's a LONG time when you want to know!!! 8-| But unfortunately, there isn't much you can do about it but wait.

IF either of you don't want to have a baby at this time, I think you know what I am about to say!! You HAVE to use a condom everytime! Because in this day and age with a 50% rise in STD's last year alone, a baby could be the least of your worries. A pregnancy can be terminated an STD IS with you for life, there are NO cures for any of them. So please be careful OK? This is your health, your future, your body. And there is only one person that can control it!! Also depending on how well you know your partner, IF you gave her an STD or she gave you one and you passed it on, you can actually be sued for "Bodily Harm!!!!" so be careful OK? Good luck to both of you, and may what you want I hope it happens for you.
