When did you try to have sex and when was your period due? How late is it?
You'll need to test again. You need to wait at least 2, preferably 3, weeks after sex to test. It takes some time for the hormones that the test look for to rise high enough to be detected. Be sure to use your first morning urine as well. It is more concentrated so it is more likely you'll get an accurate result.
Stress can make you late too. If there was no semen it is unlikely you are pregnant.
