What are the potential side effects of cyclophosphamide when used in the treatment of lymphoma? My mom's friend is going to start on this medication and my mom is terribly worried about the side effects of cyclophosphamide for some reason, and wanted me to find out what they were. Can anyone help?

Nausea, vomiting, bone marrow suppression, changes in the colour of urine, hair loss and changes in the texture and colour of the hair and skin, mouth sores and joint pain are some of the side effects of taking cyclophosphamide. Your mother might have had a point in being worried; all of these are serious side effects, and there are some more, too.
