I am going on a transatlantic flight for the first time next week. I am very excited about the trip but also a bit nervous! I am especially worried about the jet lag. What can you tell me about the side effects of jet lag? Is there anything I can do to minimize jet lag?

Well, I have to say that in all my years of travelling, the best tip I have for jet lags is to stay hydrated as well as you can throughout the journey and afterwards. Live by your new timezone right away, even if you are tired. For me, those two things make the transition least troublesome.
