Hi, guys. I was diagnosed astigmatism and I have been wearing glasses for years. My ophthalmologist recommends me laser eye surgery. I will get rid of the eye glasses permanently. I am still not sure about this. What are the side effects of this type of surgery? I will appreciate all your replies.

Hello. I think that you don’t need to worry so much. Laser eye surgery has been improved over the years. This is something that became a routine. It is used for treating astigmatism, myopia and hyperopia. Some pain is possible after the surgery. Other patients report light sensitivity. That is why I recommend you to discuss all the issues thoroughly with your ophthalmologist. I hope this will help. Bye!
